Asake’s Relationship Ends Over Financial Dispute, Empowers Mother with Business
In a surprising turn of events, popular Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, widely known as Asake, has parted ways with his girlfriend following a disagreement over financial matters.
The ‘Remember’ hitmaker, who has recently soared to fame and fortune, recounted the unexpected fallout with his partner after he decided to share his success with her.
Asake revealed that in the spirit of celebration, he offered his girlfriend a generous sum of N2 million, a gesture stemming from his significant earnings in the music industry.
Contrary to his expectations, his girlfriend declined the gift, suggesting that the amount was insufficient in light of his substantial income.
This response left Asake bewildered, given her modest upbringing and the assumption that she would appreciate the gesture.
In search of guidance, Asake turned to his mentor, the esteemed artist Olamide, who advised him to reconsider the relationship. Heeding Olamide’s advice, Asake redirected the N2 million to his mother, who utilized the funds to establish a successful provision store.
The move proved to be a wise decision, as Asake’s mother has since gained financial independence, no longer needing to seek monetary support from her son.
Asake expressed contentment with the outcome, stating, “I’m glad I followed Olamide’s advice because now my mom has her own business and is doing just fine on her own.”
How words: “When I made my first big paycheck from music, I was so happy that I shared the news with my girlfriend. I gave her full details of how much I made and the next day, I gave her 2 million naira as a gift.
“To my surprise, she turned it down saying 2 Million was too small compared to how much I had made. I was a bit worried because this girl is from a humble background, and I never imagined her to be like that.
“I explained the situation to Olamide and he advised me to leave the girl, he also instructed me to send the N2 Million to my mom.
“I’m glad I did coz my mom was able to make good use of the money and open a big provision store. My mom doesn’t call me for financial issues anymore coz she’s doing just fine..”

The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries has strongly denounced the ridicule surrounding viral videos of member testimonies, asserting that the church would never fabricate such accounts.
In response to the viral video floating on social media, the head of Public Relations and Media, Pastor Chidi Louis, explained that one of the testimonies was a recounting of a dream, which was taken out of context to discredit the church.
Pastor Louis urged the public to watch the full testimonies on the church’s official platform for clarity.
He added that some bloggers maliciously edit videos to mock the work of God and warned against believing everything seen online.
Freedom Times News gathered that these remarks followed the circulation of testimonies deemed incredible by many viewers, including one where a member claimed a lion had saved them and another where a woman said she overpowered armed robbers and seized their AK-47 rifles.
The church urged Nigerians to be skeptical of what they see online, warning that some bloggers deliberately misrepresent content for sensationalism.
A male member also described surviving a kidnapping, machete attacks, and gunshots without injury.
In response, the church clarified that the footage was manipulated.
The church dismissed the viral videos as fake and encouraged people to disregard them.

Popular Nigerian actress, model, and television host, Kehinde Bankole, has revealed the only condition that would make her accept a nude role in a movie.
She disclosed this during a recent podcast appearance, when she was asked whether she would be willing to perform nude scenes on screen.
In response, the actress explained that, she believes nudity and explicit scenes are not always essential for conveying a compelling narrative in films.
She elucidated further that, such content should only be included if it genuinely serves the story.
She said, “As far as it is intelligently required, not just because it is required. Sometimes, you do not need nudity, you do not need excessive kissing, you do not need all of that to tell a good story.
“For example, if a couple has been married for 10 years, you do not need to start the scene by showing them in a sexual act.”
Although the actress expressed concern that her opinion might be misinterpreted, but noted that she would only take on nude roles if they are “artistically required”.
“I do not like that question because the answer would always be taken out of context. This is the internet, after all. I will just say that I can do what is artistically required,” she added.
Bankole made her entertainment debut in Miss Commonwealth Nigeria 2003, then proceeded with MBGN 2004. She was named Revelation of the Year at the 2009 Best of Nollywood Awards, two years after her first screen feature in Wale Adenuga’s Super Story.
Since then, she has starred in numerous Nollywood productions, including ‘Adire’, ‘Sister’, and ‘Funmilayo Ransome Kuti’.

Bobrisky Released from Kirikiri, Warns: Don’t Spray Money or Risk Becoming a Kirikiri Landlord

Controversial crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has regained freedom after spending six months behind bars at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
His release comes after being convicted for abusing the naira by spraying it lavishly at parties.
In an exclusive interview with GoldMyneTV, Bobrisky issued a stern warning to his followers: “Follow the rules, abide by the law. Don’t spray money carelessly, unless you want to become a landlord inside Kirikiri.”
The crossdresser emphasized that seemingly innocuous actions like spraying money could lead to serious consequences.
He expressed gratitude to his loyal friends who stood by him during his incarceration.
Recalls that during the court proceedings six months ago, Bobrisky pleaded for a second chance to educate his followers about responsible money use.
“My Lord, I wish that you could give me a second chance to use my platform to inform and educate my followers about spraying money.
“I would do a video on my page and I will educate people about spraying money. I will not repeat this, My Lord. I regret my actions, My Lord.”
He vowed not to repeat his past mistakes and expressed regret for his actions. Consequently, the judge didn’t paid keen hears to his pleads, but was sentenced to six months in prison.
On Monday August 5, 2024, Bobrisky was released after he severed his full jail time at the Kirikiri correctional Centre.
